Out on the open road this Abarth 500C performs faultlessly and with the sun shining and roof open theres' a lovely burble from the twin exhausts. For more spirited driving press the ‘sport’ button and throttle and steering responses are heightened, engine torque increases and the TFT instrumentation changes into sport mode.

Supplied and serviced by Glyn Hopkin, authorised Abarth dealer, this Abarth 500C has only 16,900miles and has been serviced at 8529miles and 16457miles (August ’16). "After recently selling my Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster I found myself spending hours searching for a suitable replacement. With so many years being the owner of this stylish ‘Cat’ the search went on day and night, often with a glass of Scotlands finest whiskey in hand! I began working through my ‘wish list’ and couldn’t believe my luck when I stumbled across the Absolute Classic Cars website. A Volvo 1800S was clearly on my radar and Marks privately owned classic was something unreal, the car looked truly stunning.

I instantly called Mark (who speaks great German) and told him I would be on the next available plane. At 2am I booked the flight, organised a rental car and shortly afterwards had boarded a flight to the UK and finally made it to Marks house with enough light left in an otherwise typical grey winters day. Mark opened his garage and rolled out his classic, still wearing its cover, my heart in overdrive and head spinning! Mark removed the cover and there in front me…..every word Mark had used far exceeded my expectations, the exterior colour complimented the shape of the car perfectly, it simply could not be surpassed, the interior was the icing on the cake and the car was in absolutely fantastic order…I needed to buy this car as much as I needed to breath!

The personal touch, the thought of the smallest details that went into restoring this car from a barn-find car to an absolute classic winner just shows the amount of expertise and knowledge about design and how things work to elevate a good car into something very special.

If you are looking for the personal touch paired with knowledge about historic cars, then Absolute Classic Cars is the only way to go."
