The Jaguar XK (internal code X150), is a stunning 2+2 Grand Tourer that was first unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show and marked a new resurgence for Jaguar Cars in design, quality and craftsmanship. With the car being styled by Ian Callum, of Aston Martin DB7, Vanquish and DB9 fame, the new XK was a considerable step forward in comparison to the outgoing XK8 / XKR ('96-'06), its grill took styling cues from the Series 1 E-type and the car featured an all new aluminium chassis developed from the ALC Concept car, with a 4.2 litre (300bhp) V8 driving the rear wheels through a 6 speed ZF automatic transmission. In 2006 the XK Convertible was launched at the North American International Motorshow, featuring the same 2+2 configuration but now with a fully retractable electric roof, giving the car super sleek lines akin to the Aston Martin DB9, and offered effortless open top motoring, 0-60mph of 5.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph.

Thank you so much for your services in finding a new owner for my cherished classic car - it was with a heavy heart that the decision was made but fortunately I found Absolute Classic Cars who handled the whole process with utter professionalism and brilliant customer service.
A great portfolio of pictures presented on their own website and other suitable platforms stimulated a lot of interest and the first to give the vehicle close inspection became the new owner. Once the car left my garage I was spared the process of advertising, viewings, etc which would have only spoiled my fond memories of an old 'friend'.
I could not imagine dealing with anyone better than either Mark or Carl when either buying or selling a valuable classic or sports car as they have knowledge and experience to safely guide you through the process - and at the end they have become like friends!
