The Jaguar XK (internal code X150), is a stunning 2+2 Grand Tourer that was first unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show and marked a new resurgence for Jaguar Cars in design, quality and craftsmanship. With the car being styled by Ian Callum, of Aston Martin DB7, Vanquish and DB9 fame, the new XK was a considerable step forward in comparison to the outgoing XK8 / XKR ('96-'06), its grill took styling cues from the Series 1 E-type and the car featured an all new aluminium chassis developed from the ALC Concept car, with a 4.2 litre (300bhp) V8 driving the rear wheels through a 6 speed ZF automatic transmission. In 2006 the XK Convertible was launched at the North American International Motorshow, featuring the same 2+2 configuration but now with a fully retractable electric roof, giving the car super sleek lines akin to the Aston Martin DB9, and offered effortless open top motoring, 0-60mph of 5.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph.
Delivered to its first owner through the Hadley Green Garage Jaguar dealership in Oct 2007 this Jaguar XK convertible looks stunning and was specified with the following options:

After owning my Mercedes SL55 AMG for 2 yrs and finding that I really wasn't using her I decided that the time had come for the car to find a new owner and despite what I thought was a decent advert and some nice pictures I found that after 3 months of advertising and expense I had no real interest in the car. A friend of mine had suggested that I contact Absolute Classic Cars as they might be able to help and after meeting with Carl and Mark I decided to give the guys a go.
Within a week of our meeting they had fully prepared the car for sale, took loads of detailed images, wrote a fantastic advert and even produced a video specifically for my car - she looked so good I almost didn't want to sell her!
Mark and Carl managed communications with all interested parties, arranged viewings and amazingly within the two weeks the car was sold, I couldn't believe it.
The guys at Absolute Classic Cars really know their stuff, their attention to detail is unbelievable, always super professional yet warm and welcoming, I can't recommend them highly enough.
